Black Mountain Technologies was founded by Shane Snell.  Shane has over 15 years’ experience in the commercial AV industry. He has served various roles from installer, project manager, estimator, design engineer and consultant.

His experience ranges across a broad spectrum of project types and sizes ranging from a single integrated conference room, to some of Las Vegas largest hotel, casino, convention and hospitality venues. He has also worked in the corporate space, with various educational institutions, houses of worship, and many other project types.

He is well versed in audio and video distribution and design, audio DSP programming, network topology and design, and systems commissioning and start-up as well as all phases of a typical commercial construction project including design consultation and documentation with architects and general contractors.

UFC Headquarters, Las Vegas Aces Practice Facility and Headquarters, Graton Hotel and Casino, Caesar’s Forum Convention Space, Cristo Rey Catholic High School, Ellis Island Casino Front Yard. Several Stations Casino convention spaces and venues such as the Green Valley Ranch Grand Ballrooms, Santa Fe Station Meeting Rooms, Rocks Lounge at Red Rock Casino and Railhead at Boulder Station. Many restaurants and sports bars such as Greene Street, Shark, and Mabel’s BBQ at The Palms, 30+ Buffalo Wild Wings across California, Oregon, and Washington State, Borracha and Bottiglia at Green Valley Ranch, Austin’s Steakhouse at Texas Station, and Mercato at The Venetian to name a few. Also, the Venetian Yahoo Sportsbook remodel of 2023, Bally's Gaming Headquarters in Rhode Island, Bally's Quad Cities Sportsbook in Iowa and many others.
