We believe that successful projects are those with the least number of surprises. To ensure a project is completed successfully, it is essential to conduct due diligence, proper engineering, documentation, planning, and collaboration. To help you achieve this goal, Black Mountain Technology offers a range of services, including: 

Project-Specific Engineered Drawing Packages.

 

  • These packages are priced and contracted per project.

  • Each package includes a cover sheet, symbol table, wire types, and notes.

  • Packages range from Construction Documents to a complete Shop Drawing Package

    • Construction Drawings (CD)

      • Floor Plans and RCPs with symbols, wire types, and destinations.

      • Schematic or conceptual single-line diagrams to inform design intent.

      • Interior elevations for featured or required elements.

      • Conceptual rack elevations with general power requirements

      • Enough details to allow a successful RFP.

      • Includes a Section 27 00 00 Specification Section if required. 

      • Attending virtual meetings as needed to support the project

      • Typically delivered to an Architect.

    • Shop Drawing Package

      • Includes all the items in the CD drawings.

      • Adds specific and detailed single-line diagrams with wire tags matched to the Floor Plans and RCP plans (EZ Codes)

      • Terminal block layouts, connector details, device ID’s.

      • Installation Details 

      • Additional speaker zone and wattage calculations

      • Rack power circuiting

      • Network design, IP schemes, and documentation are also available. 

      • Typically used by the integrator or LV contractor for the installation phase of a project

    • Additional Optional Documentation

      • Networking and IP Spreadsheets

      • As-Built Drawings

      • Responsibility Matrix

      • Executive Summary

 

Consultation & Sales Support 

 

  • Monthly Agreement for a specified Not to Exceed Maximum dollar amount.

  • The Client must approve additional hours before use.

  • Monthly hours are billed in 15-minute increments.

  • The monthly agreed-upon maximum is adjustable each month as needed.

  • Consultation communication can be via email (preferred), phone call, text, or another IM platform. If the Client has an IM platform (Slack, Teams, Discord, etc., the Client must provide BMT with channel access) 

  • Excludes all communication on a contracted project or drawing package.

    • If a consultation request is received regarding an ongoing design package, that time does not count against the monthly consulting agreement.

    • Any consultation request, general question, or sales support question received does not pertain to an ongoing, contracted engineering. 

    • The package will count towards the agreed-upon monthly maximum.
